W51.TV Field Reporter Auditions (Open to Grade 4 & 5 ONLY!)

Qualities you will need to possess (You will also be judged by these criterions):

  • Speaking – loud, clear, well enunciated words, interesting tone of voice.
  • Facial expressions – Animated, cheerful, interested in the news.
  • Abilities – able to think of interesting things to say quickly, rapport with interviewees, etc.

Audition Procedure:

You will be filmed in the back of an ongoing class, reporting news about the class.  Check out the example here:

**NOTE: NO news script is needed, as you will be judged based on your ability to report the news “live” and without a script!

If you think that YOU’RE the person for the job, come to the Counseling Room during Recess/Lunch on Thursday to sign up for an audition slot.
